“It’s HERE” - a boy named Sam Altman is running around the world yelling at the top of his lungs that the newest model of ChatGPT is here… as he should…
The model is quite impressive - even spending just 40 minutes talking to it through my AirPods (while doing the dishes) and coding a new site with the speech feature felt like I was Iron Man and was talking to Jarvis.
It feels different, and if you use it wisely, you can really make something quite special as an affiliate marketer.
In the coming paragraphs, I will show you why I feel strongly about it.
What is ChatGPT-6 Astra?
On September 4, 2026, OpenAI dropped one of their most significant models to date.
It’s not just an upgrade, it’s a completely new model with strong reasoning capabilities that actually does things and handles tasks from end to end.
I would go as far as to say it’s not so much a new language model as it is a new AI co-worker that you can talk to or chat with and make real advances in your career or business.
I won’t go over benchmarks, as I feel that they have recently become similar to “manhood measuring” between the goliaths of the AI industry, the same as they did in school locker rooms - but my internal benchmark was exceeded by a mile when I compared it to any other models I have used.
Its key features
I think that one of the most impressive things that we have seen about Astra is the video of a person speaking to it and creating a 3D-rendered video in Blender.
Basically, it can open up Blender and create 3D videos, cartoons or even video games.
It seems that the possibilities are unlimited, as Higgsfield also dropped a promotional video of full video game creation using its creative image generation tool and ChatGPT Astra.
But there are some other things it can do:
- Use the browser as a real person would and scroll through information, copy and paste stuff you need;
- Fill out forms and CRMs with information;
- Write and execute complex scripts and code;
- Complete complex workflows with one single prompt.
Basically, it can be a full AI employee on your hands, handling basically any task you give it. Creating and editing documents or complex software, or just filling out forms or your CRM - it can do it all.

How can affiliate marketers use it?
I think one of the most complex parts of affiliate marketing for beginners has always been the technical side of things, such as creating websites, setting up conversion tracking and writing content.
But now, you can forget about these now-silly issues, as ChatGPT can fully take care of all your needs.
Even signing up for affiliate campaigns should be much easier.
If we go through the full affiliate cycle:
- It can sign up for affiliate systems and campaigns;
- Create the project or website and write content for it;
- Help to set up conversion tracking and push conversions to ad accounts or your internal system;
- Update content and make improvements based on the conversion data.
Basically, you have a real affiliate marketing project manager at your disposal, and you can talk to it like you would to a real person - it really feels like AGI is close.
My final remarks
In terms of its performance, it is great! The only drawback would be that it eats a lot of your tokens when doing these complex tasks.
Even just a simple website redesign that took 20 minutes ate almost all of my 5-hour allowance on my “Plus” account - maybe if you go “Pro”, you can handle more tasks with Astra.
Overall, I think it is close to AGI, similar to Grok Bots, but with more coding capabilities at the moment. But you should never underestimate Elon Musk, and we should expect a new release from them in the coming weeks.
Also, as Anthropic is getting ready for its IPO and will be looking to increase the price of its stock after the IPO, we should expect something big from them right around that time as well.
